Players at the U8 division will have the choice to play in the share-play rec league between Oak Grove and Grain Valley or play more competitive play in the KC Metro League with your home games in Oak Grove. Grain Valley will also be fielding teams at the U9 and above divisions in the KCML so there will be more teams playing through the Metro East with home games in Oak Grove. What this means to you—if you are on a U9 or above team you will have other local teams to compete with so the # of games you travel for will likely be less. Latest League news #2: The Oak Grove Soccer League will be changing its name to the Metro East Soccer Club. We feel this name better describes this club and the people we serve. Your experience with this club will not change. We are still dedicated to providing the children in our communities the best soccer experience. Latest League news #3. The Metro East Soccer Club has hired Chris Dean to be the Coaching Director. Chris will be in charge of the Academies as well as helping with the other teams in training.
